Rothschild IBD Internship 2nd(Final) Round

Hi guys,

Sorry if this has been posted before, but I couldn't find any info.

Has anyone ever had a 2nd round (technical) interview for IBD at Rothschild? Or any kind of interview at Rothschild before? I passed the first round, and just wanted to get a few ideas of what to expect.

Rothschild and Lazard provide quality M&A work, I would favour them for it over any other bank.

they dont hold recruiting events for warwick or UCL..does anyone find this surprising?

I interned at Rothschild in the summer. The staff and other interns were all really good people: helpful and knew their stuff. You should have a good experience there, although the hours you'll work are the real deal!

no, what's really surprising, though, is their visiting the universities in bold above.

I just thought its strange that they do for bristol but not for UCL or warwick, considering everyone seems to think that UCL and Warwick are in those top 6 unis for IB.

They're top but I dont think they have the 'prestige' that is associated with the other universities that have been mentioned. And I always got the impression that Rothschild were very elitist, much more so than other top IBs. But thats just me!
