Does anyone know where I can please pick up an Lboro Academic Scarf? They're no longer on the uni's nor union's website. If anyone has any info, I'd really appreciate it.

Hi Congraduations
I'm not quite sure what you mean be academic scarf - if it was the checked wool one with lboro sport on it, this was a limited edition run I believe and are no longer available. If it was this one you were after, you could e-mail [email protected] to see if there are any available anywhere else.

If you give me an idea of what it looked like I can try to find out some more info for you.

I have been on a similar mission for some time now - ie if by your description you mean one of the scarves covering the University rather than a section, as the Engineers are. or used to be. Mine, if memory serves correct, was maroon/white stripes (Got an idea there was a dark blue stripe running down the middle. My original scarf was lost on the ferry and is probably running back and forth for ever between the UK and Ireland? If I should come across any I will give you a buzz.

I am also looking for a scarf for my son who attended in 1988 studying Computer Science would really like to get hold of one to surprise him as he no longer lives in UK
