On the questions for edexcel statistics 1, it doesn't actually tell me how many decimal places of significant figures I should leave my answer as. Compared to the core modules that tell me specifically how I should leave me answer.

When I look at the mark scheme, it doesn't seem to be consistent in the answers. It's either rounded up completely, left as the answer you receive on your calculator or 3sf. Can someone please tell me how I am supposed to round properly on the statistics 1 exam?

Thank you.

For all of the intermediate stages, don't round but for the final answer round to 3.s.f.
I know it's inconsistent sometimes in the mark scheme but that's what I've been advised to do.
