what he said.
Why should it matter? what a silly and embarassing question

There are black people everywhere. Just as there are white and asian people everywhere.
It matters 2 me bcos I'm worried about fitting in. I'm from a very bad neighbourhood where less than 5% of people enter higher education. Of course I like mixing in with a variety of people but I would also feel uncomfortable being a minority.

You will be fine. Uni attracts people from all over the country so you're unlikely to feel uncomfortable!

You'll be having so much fun you won't notice.
Thanks, hopefully I will!

course there are!
i live next to the uni in wivenhoe & have done since i was born 16 years ago.
& its a really good area, nothing like that matters. plus there is a real mix of race within the university. not so much the area its self, well wivenhoe. but that doesnt matter.
but at the university its a real mix. i use the gym there every week, now that im 16 :] & have traveled through it everyday for the past 5 years on the bus & there is a huge mix of ppl who get on from the university.
blad dere was HARDLY any coloured people at essex, though the female talent was hot for PPE, damnnnnnnn. But choosing a university based on 'talent' is not exactly a determining factor lol. Nice uni though.
