St Mary's is really pretty, and it's probably closer to the science site (if you go down the footpath) than John's. As said, the m:f ratio is pretty even now, so it's really not something to concern yourself with.

Someone told me that the food isnt spectacular there, but asides that it seems a nice college.

OH WOW THANKS! ahh i 've forgotten my password to AES...i have to call them to find out which college i got into!

you can tell on the UCAS website. Click on the red course code, next to the university (if I remember).

There'll be a campus code listed, which will tell you which college you're in.
Yay, my application has been passed onto Grey.

Nice one  Are you assuming Grey because it has its own link in your personal links section, or for another reason?
It's where I applied, I didn't think about checking! But yeah, it is in my personal links bit.

Well my status on the AES system has changed to received by college...woooo.... How long is it usually before the UCAS confirmation comes through???? Thanks

Between one day and half a year.

My status changed to received by a college in November and I received my offer 3 weeks after the official deadline for choosing your Firm and Insurance unis.

What fun that was.
^^^ Err, what do you do in that situation should it arise?
Reply 208
I think there's some option that allows you to miss the deadline. It'll be explained if and when the situation arises. While annoying, it wasn't really a problem as everything was explained to me in some letter.

But does the sent to college status mean that a place WILL be offered??? (Ignoring any mistakes that may be made)

Ohhh, that must've been horrible, seems ridiculous they took so long for you - you'd think they'd deal with applications as they came in, rather than letting them build up. Looks like I'll be waiting a while then, despite that my application has supposedly been passed to a college.

I'm really hoping that it won't take that long... I don't think I could last that long!!! :frown:
when do the colleges usually decide? I've lost my AES password and i can't find out which college i'm going to be assigned to?
Reply 213
They'll send you a letter from your college and when it shows up on track you'll have a "campus code" which is your college code.

Wahey!
Made me laugh.
The smart arguement back on page 2 and 3 made me hot .
if my campus code is U on ucas track and I have a conditional offer, does that mean i've been accepted into university college?? OMG i can't believe it!
Yes I believe it does! Congrats
