uni offer a lot higher than predicted

I had an interview and got an offer off ljmu for pharmacy for 320 ucas even though I'm only predicted BCC. Not sure why though , do university's normally do this?

Unis can make whatever offers they like, and quite often do make them higher than predictions. However, unless the offer states specifically that they're excluded, you can include your points from any AS level you haven't taken to the full A level in this total. A B grade at AS level will use up 50 of those points, leaving you with 270 to find - a B at A level is worth 100 points, and a C 80, so in fact with predictions of BCC you'd be only ten points short. If you have an A grade in the AS level (worth 60 points) and you can include it in the count, your offer is bang on your prediction.
