Can someone help me with question 5 I don't understand how to get either part?

Also could someone please explain 6b - find U but then how do I use this to find V?

For 5a) Perhaps think about finding it if it was a solid rectangle. Then find the cog for the triangle and do some work with the 2 values.

b) Trig formula

6b) Do you have any formulas with V in from your proof in a)?
