Do international students get on-campus accommodation ? Like in University of Manchester.. If you are an international student you will get accommodation guaranteed. Same case for warwick? I hope ?
No idea how many apply but as others have said, the rooms are pretty huge. If you share you get 2 floors to 2 people. Good going. Very funky and you have a massive common room as well. Go for it I say.

Yeah, that was my reasoning too. Plus its cheaper. And I'd still get time to myself cos its not like my roomie and I would both be stuck in there together ALL the time. The photos look really nice on the site. Guess its just a matter of getting lucky with who you share with...

Everyone is guaranteed on-campus accommodation in their first year, international student or not. Nobody at all gets it second year, with third year it seems to be a bit of a lucky dip if you apply, not sure if they prioritise international students but I wouldn't have thought so.
If you're a finalist international student you're guaranteed campus accomodation. Everyone else lucky dip. If you're disabled you can stay on campus all 3 years.
I know what lucky dip means. I just don't fully understand why international students get first dibs, so to speak.
Some of them pay 4x more fees! I guess their parents may also be more concerned or bothered about them living in a random house that isnt ran by the uni as they are in a different country too.
Got back from the open day. The room i was shown (Claycroft) was tiny! Is this representative of JM and Rootes rooms? Also, the tour guide (lol) told us there was a bit of a problem with theft at Cryfields? Anything for me to be worried about...?
...and on a slightly random note, what is BC international freight? They were just thrusting freebies into our hands lol, and im not one to turn down free stuff
Also: am i rite in guessing your an economist mango? I have a notoriously poor memory...(i have some questions)

I don't know how small Claycroft rooms apart from that they are smaller than Rootes. (The website tells me 3.9 x 2.5 for Claycroft whereas it is 4.5 x 2.9 for Rootes) My Rootes room is big enough. Room for two people to sleep on the floor.
I just took some photos to illustrate. Excuse the mess. Spur of the moment photographs.
