1) Do you have your towel? If not, get one.
2) Don't Panic.
3) It may take some time, as they're overloaded by people bitching about how they didn't get their offer and because there's a small bug that's preventing some people from accepting their offers because stuff timed out, but all in all, don't worry about it. You've got time.

Heyyy,
Thanks for the advice, managed to get it all sorted now, so panic over

Soo, is anyone staying at whitefields?? x

Hey  could I ask how you got it sorted? I forgot my password, tried to reset it and log in again, but now the page is saying 'This page should not be called directly'; I can't do anything at all :s-smilie:

Anyone else have this problem? I'd quite like to know where I've been allocated.

well it wasnt so much a problem with the site but the fact that i forgot my login name and password, but i managed to request a new password and remember my login.

But i literally had to keep trying to get in for about 20 minutes before i got access, just typing my details over and over.

Just give it some time because sooo many people are trying to log in, it will come up eventually  x

I'm having the exact same problem! Do you think we should email the accommodation or just wait and see if it changes?

I think I got hit by the bug. Tried logging out, but now the site keeps spitting out errors instead of letting me back in. -_- Should I bother contacting someone (not sure who...) or just try again tomorrow?

Contact someone and try again tomorrow when things aren't so damn hectic. Unfortunately, they probably won't really be able to get back to you until Monday.

Hey  If I wasn't so impatient to know I would leave it. I'm just having a bit of a toddler tantrum because everybody else seems to know where they've been allocated and I don't :P. I've been trying to get on for just under an hour now.

Hmm, I think if it doesn't work by 4.30 I'll call them up. I kind of want to know today before the staff all go home.

It might be because you applied later? :/

Did you apply before the 31st July?`

Aww, i was hoping they'd be more like little bathrooms :P Oh well, it says it's between 6 on average, does that mean it is usually 6 or does it vary much? Like 6 at most or sometimes 4 or sometimes like 8? Thanks

It can vary a bit.

Basically Cryfield has 3 blocks and there are on average 80 people in each block spread over a few floors. There are a couple of bathroom areas in each floor and from there it leads into a room with a sink or two in that also has other rooms inside which have various baths/showers/toilets in.

Essentially you can go to any bathroom you like, if one is full there will be others somewhere in the building you can go to
Not happy. Called up Warwick Accommodation and they closed at 4 today! Guuuuh.

Yeah - anything - update or post something new :p:

Old and New Rootes - one was built around 1970s. That's Old Rootes (A-I), find out where you are by looking at the arrivals instructions or something. The other is New Rootes (J-P) and was probably built a few years after Old Rootes. As for differences - negligible.

There is infact a smaller 'International House' (actually block I) which is a circular building between New and Old Rootes - although I haven't been inside it so I dunno much about it.

International House is kind of similar, though the layout isn't the more (long) corridors like of Rootes. Only difference is that the main door needs a keycard (as of last year), but your room doors uses normal keys.

In other words, don't walk on the MathStats lake when it is frozen if you are carrying your keys/keycard.

Oh Ok thanks
I got Old Rootes and I was really worried I might be missing out and I thought it was unfair that the rent is the same.

Edit: I can't +rep you because I've already repped you before so next time I get the chance I will

Just found out I'm SHARING a SINGLE room in Westwood. Gutted isn't the word. :frown: It might be like that for up to 2 months. I can't share a desk and wardrobe with someone for two months. Oh and I can't bring all my stuff up either as there won't be room.

The rooms are really very big and you'll have additional storage space under your bed and in the trunk rooms available for sharers in the Westwood halls. When I shared it was pretty tight for space but it was manageable.
