I commensed quite disciplined about food shopping, going to tesco once or twice a week. Then I got lazy and by the end of the year was just going to costcutter whenever I got hungry and having nothing but beer and orange juice in the fridge :P. Im hoping it will be easier this year to stay good  , however as im living a minuite or so from burger king that may soon go out the window lol

No! Not Burger King. Please don't.

I liked my Sunday tesco trips. Late evening tesco shops are lovely too unless you want vegetables/salad, it's great fun!!

Shopping trips will be better this year as everyone can buy more and chuck it in my boot, thats what got to me year just gone was Id buy loads of stuff then think ach I now have to carry this all the way home. Im so damm lazy.

yes shopping can be taken home in a car  Awesome!

the annoying thing with shopping is when someone offers to come with you to help carry the shopping and then buys lots of heavy stuff on the spur of the moment and can barely carry thier own :p:

Oh boy can I verify that one
So hold on. I'm confused. I keep hearing that Weswood is closest to Tesco, but I thought it was on the otherside of the main campus? Where is it exactly?

Westwood is effectively the closest to Tesco, yes (Claycroft may be slightly closer from the other direction). Westwood is north of central campus hence why it's seen as the "other side" of campus.

Use this PDF map - Westwood is in the top right, Tesco is part of the Cannon Park Shopping Centre, grid H3. That's about a 2 minute walk.

EDIT: Would help if I actually GAVE the link...

If you walk out of the back of westwood and turn left, you're pretty much on an island. The right turn of that island, Cannon Park is on the left of that road, about 100yds, featuring Tesco, Wilkinsons, the chinese food market, and many other treats (seem to remember an iceland too perhaps). Literally, 5 min walk or less from westwood. Bonus!
Well what I initially thought is this:
If you are facing the entrance of Benefactors ( so that kinda makes the SU and Arts Centre to your back), then Westwood is in front of you. However, recalling the way I used to walk with my sister (I did my work experience there and stayed with her) to Tesco's, then its kind of the other way. That's whats confusing me. But I may have Westwood's location wrong.

Yes you do I'm afraid. Westwood is opposite University House, by the running track and tennis courts. Oh, and westwood games hall, coincidentally.

oh and have a look at my shiny new westwood FAQ thread. I'll do some more work on it tomorrow.

Hehe, that can happen inside the warwick bubble, it can distort your mind. Many people go insane after a while.
