Are the accommodation offers by email or posted?

I'm worried that since I applied with my school email (now deleted) I might not be able to receive any emails from the university

Contact them to see if they've given you an offer and update your email address!

I'm pretty sure they'll contact you by email, so make sure you give them an updated email :smile:

Just spoke to Warwick Accommodation on the phone. They said they hope to have all accom offers out by the end of next week (don't know if she meant only postgrad or all). She said they expect all that applied before the deadline to make it into university managed accommodation.
Update: Warwick Accommodation are allocating my room to another student rather than have me search for a "suitable student replacement". My apologies about this.

I've got a bit of a dilemma which is related to this thread: I can no longer do my MSc at Warwick due to financial reasons, but I was lucky to receive an offer for accommodation off-campus a couple of weeks ago.

I really need to find a student replacement for it, and I'd greatly appreciate it if anyone interested would send me a private message. I've asked Warwick Accommodation to advertise my room on the website (which I assume they will do on Monday since it's outside of working hours now), but I'm really panicking about the whole thing as I need to find a student replacement before 27 September 2014!

Please do send me a private message if you're interested in the house or any details, and thanks for reading this!!!

If anyone is able to help me in any way regarding this that would make my day -- I'm feeling really down about this right now and it's been hard to take my mind off it.

Hi (Single bedroom within walking distance to Warwick university)

We are a group of postgraduate medical students starting at Warwick on the 22nd September.
My flat mates and I have a 6th single bedroom to rent on Moat avenue in Coventry (CV3) a 20 minute walk from the main campus of Warwick university.
The current household consists of 3 females (21, 22 and 23) and two males (21 and 26).
Rent will be 55pw not including bills which we will divide by 6 each month.
The contract will end on the 15th July 2015.
The property will have two bathrooms.

I just received my offer for accommodation, is there really no way we can change it? I am an international student and received my last option, and the only one with a 30 week-let (had to have at least one in the process of applying for accommodation). All of my four other options were 39 week-let and I was really hoping that they would take into consideration that I'm coming from abroad and wanted to settle somewhere with all my things as i can't take them all with me again over christmas and easter, etc.
Is it possible to switch with other people if they agree?

I think room transfers are only taken into consideration concerning medical reasons, but email the accomodation people :smile:

I am sure you will be able to swop with someone as I assume the 30 week let is an en-suite room and lots of people will want one of those. Put a note on here and ask if anyone wants to swop. My son has just got Jack Martin and is really pleased.

Hi, I'm in Sherbourne too! I agree it does look nice - I hope it isn't as far away from the rest of campus as it looks on the map though :s-smilie:

Wow that's so lucky! I actually had it as my second choice (Arthur Vick was my first) but I'm really happy with Heronbank, it looks really nice :smile: what course are you going to study?
