Westwood.. Second choice so, not bad in the scheme of things, but nervous about sharing bathrooms and the distance in the cold!

On the other hand it was, my cheapest option

Same for you! My brother is in his second year at York doing Law also.
Hello guys,
Please help me out, I am currently very desperate and sad about my situation.
I am going to study in warwick in the end of this month. However I still have not yet reserved an accommodation to stay throughout the year.
I am a postgraduate student, I hv applied thru warwick accommodation system but they replied me that they could not assign me a place but can refer me to a place in warwickshire college. But I still have heard them back till now thus I have no where to stay.
If it is possible, can someone suggest me a place where I can find either a studio or an en-suite that is still available to reserve. I have tried many places but still havent found one, literally full booked everywhere.
This is kinda urgent, can someone please help me out ?
thanks in advance :frown:

Does anyone know how to go about swapping rooms? I've been allocated Claycroft and have found someone who's wanting to swap with me - How would we go about doing this?

I know they say to wait until the second week of October, but I'm worried that this will make the initial settling in quite challenging. Is there anyway of swapping so that we'd be moving in to our preferred halls of residence on the 1st October?

You can always call/email Warwick Accommodation. They may be able to help you of you've already found someone who is willing to swap with you.

Lucky him! York was my insurance and I imagine the Law programme there is fantastic.

I'll reply to your PM in the morning.

No its certainly not unusual. There are loads of international students across all the accommodations

Have fun! and enjoy your first year!
Stupid question but there aren't any problems with locking your room both from outside and inside, right?

No there are no problems with that since its your room, you're entitled to do as you wish, so long as you don't break/damage anything.
Any clues as to how many people to a kitchen in rootes? Apparently its a **** tonne...
