 Nah lol it's just a few lines saying I like loud/quiet areas staying up late and soialising/ going to bed early whatever lol. It deserves about 5 minutes of your attention that's all.

oh ok....thanks, you going for rootes?
Hmm, thinking about what to put on my accomodation app.

I'm pretty out going and definitely want to live with lots of sociable, fun people. I would like an en-suite but I've heard that most of the en-suite halls are a bit quiet?

Rootes is standing out for me and the 39-week let is a plus.

I was thinking of putting JM as my second choice as that sounds like its the most 'sociable' of the en-suite halls. I went to Arthur Vick on my course open day and it was deadly silent.

Any ideas what I can put as my third choice?

i'm really confused. For Tocil and Claycroft, since they are flats, are each and every flat single sex? or only certain parts of those halls are single sex?
Im going to put Cryfields as my first choice as its the cheapest. But it seems that it could be quite popular and there arent many rooms.. Any advice on what to put in the "about me" section to boost my chances? Should I put that I like it because its cheap, or would that be stupid?

i was going to put cryfields as my first choice too! not sure about the other preferences though. It can't be too far out since i'll be on the gibbet hill campus all the time.
Suuuuper! Error while applying... After I've completed my application and hit Confirm...When I tried to do it all over again I received a cute, exciting message saying I had already applied for accommodation and I cannot submit the form twice... I've sent them and email, don't have any idea if they actually got the application or not... Has this happened to any of you guys?

What error? If there was an error how did you manage to click the apply button, then click the confirmation link in the email?

Yeah, actually there wasn't any error... I'm lying actually cause I don't have anything better to do. And don't have finals in less than a month for that matter :shifty:

I didn't click the confirmation link in the email because there wasn't any email. What I said ws that: I clicked Apply on the link on the website, and you know, you have those steps that you have to follow in the upper part of the page.
(Enter::Confirm::Confirm email address::biggrin:one).

I completed the application form, went to the next step (which was the "Confirm" one, the stage where you can revise all the information that you wrote in the application and that's where the error occurred. Didn't get any email, but I've sent them an email telling them what's happened. No answer so far. Maybe I should call them..

Ditto.

Gibbet hill and cheapness! think mine will be Cryfield, whitefields then rootes when I can be bothered to fill in the application!
Got it solved, they have been really nice, final options:

JM
Rootes
Claycroft
Whitefields
Westwood
Where are my chances of getting ensuite higher - AV or JM as first choice?
Thanks
Does anyone here know when the deposit has to be paid for Warwick accommodation?

I've put Warwick as Insurance and have applied for accommodation. Will they ask me for the deposit soon?

It's just the Warwick has gave me the same offer as my Firm so don't know whether to pay the deposit if they ask.

I'm pretty sure that you don't have to do anything until the deadline for application closes (31st July).

After that date, you are assigned your place after results day (20 Aug). In mid September they send you an email for an online contract. I guess it is then when a deposit is required.

Yea..Well it depends on what you want to do in the future.

For Maths, Imperial would have been my choice.

LSE can be good depending on what career you are looking at but Warwick>LSE for Maths.
