Hi there!

I am thinking about taking an one year distance a level course in Maths (Edexcel). I am wondering whether you could just help me? I don't quite understand which topics I will have to learn for it. I've got a revision book which covers C1, C2, S1, M1, D1 and another book covers C3, C4, S2 and M2. If I got it right I will have to take all the C1,2,3,4 exams and two other exams. One of M1, S1 or D1 and one either S2 or M2. Is this right?
Would be great if someone could explain this to me

Thanks!

Btw. I am also thinking about taking a distance A-level in German. However, I can't find any information about whether it is possible to do a distance A-level in a modern language? I am just confused about it cause I would have to do an oral exam and how can you do an oral exam when you are not enrolled at a school?

You can take 2 of m1, d1 or s1 aswell if you want, you dont have to do s1 and s2 for example.

You do C1 C2 C3 C4 AND two or either of the mechanics, decisions and stats. I do D1 and M1. With german you just have to contact a local sixthform or college and ask if you can take your exam there

Thank your very much for your fast answers!
This really helps me. So I can basically look at all the topics and decide which two I like the most?
