Hi,

Im currently living in manchester and going to a college taking Computing, 3D Design and graphic design.

After my A levels im looking at going to a Uni and studying Computing.

Just seeing if anybody else is doing the same or is currently at uni studying this and can give me some advice on which Unis are the best for it. And if there is any hope of me getting a job afterwards?

p.s. Im realisticaly looking to get an average of B,C,C or B,B,C

I already have a C in A/S business packed away too..

thanks for any help on this.

Are you talking about Comp Sci or different computing courses? You might want to look at newspaper rankings: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/section/0,,6734,00.html and http://education.guardian.co.uk/high...21799,00.html.

Places like York, Warwick and Imperial will usually want high grades, ABB for example (or higher). I'm not sure about other Computing courses, but for Comp Sci, a lot of places want an A Level in Maths (I don't think Exeter do.. A Level Computing is fine afaik). Check with the universities.

If you hate maths I wouldn't recommend doing Computer Science at University unless you can find one that doesn't require this at A Level or teach it in their degree course.

I've found that most of the top Universities do, namely Cambridge, whose course content is heavily maths based.
