What AS grades did you put on your UCAS.... watch

    In SQA Highers (apparently harder than AS, worth more for UCAS anyway) in Maths, English, Computing, Chemistry and Physics. 5 is a relatively "normal" number here since most people only do 1 year and don't do Advanced Higher, the equivalent of A-level.

    but u have to put down ur highers no matter what. they're a seperate qualification to advanced highers. We don't have the privilage of hiding it if we screw up in scotland

    Do you? I didn't know that.

    We also don't have the priviledges of units that actually count towards the final grade (but must be passed anyway) or resits.

    That's good, I think, you can't hide your GCSEs so why hide your AS grades? If you got a bad grade due to illness/trauma then I'm sure the universities are going to understand.
