I have done a bit, but I'm worried that the exam will be based on that one element I forgot, since the exam only focuses on one topic. And sometimes I struggle to understand the sources, also I am not too sure with how to structure each question and what they are looking for.

I feel exactly the same, don't worry. History is my strong point in school, there's a group of about four of us that this applies to, but we've all struggled massively. My history teacher spoke to a guy who works on the exam board and he said that OCR are aware of how difficult the sources were in the specimen paper, they're hoping students will find the exam paper easier. Don't forget though, this is worth just 30% of your grade...a decent grade in your controlled assessment, and hopefully paper 1, will help you, so don't see this as the be all and end all. To be honest, the exam is stupid, it doesn't test knowledge in the right way and it doesn't give any room for personal reflection...

Yeah it was, but I found I kept repeating myself a lot. For example I mentioned several times that the Government was 'laissez faire' in its approach because it was relevant to basically every question
