Shaw and Mckay - The constant movement of people in some locations means that crime is more likely.
Hobbs et al - Night time economy

Left Realism - Poor housing leads to relative deprivation, marginalisation and subcultural.
Right Realism - Murray and the under class. Also Wilson and Kelling broken window approach.

You could also talk about Durkheim and how he points to industrialisation as being a cause for crime, and as rural areas are less industrialised then that would mean that they would automatically have less crime because the 4 controls are implemented there.

Most of sociology is just applying what you already know, so the points above, although not directly about location, can all be used for a question on it.

I panicked when I saw feminism as I didn't want it to come up and went with media and solutions hope I've done well though Wbu?
