Hey everyone, wanted to ask what you're all learning for psyb4. I have no idea as the specification is so broad! I'm panicking now as I only have a few days left! Please help! I'd appreciate if you could tell me in depth everything you're learning. Thank you

Approaches: (Assumptions and A02s for all)
1. Humanistic approach.
2. Biological approach.
3. Psychodynamic approach.
4. Behaviourist approach.
5. Social learning theory.
6. Cognitive approach.
7. Eclectic approach.

Debates:
1. Psychology as a science.
2. Free Will/Determinism.
3. Holism/Reductionism.
4. Nature/Nurture.
5. Idiographic/Nomothetic.

Research Methods: (Everything from AS PLUS...)
1. Type 1 or type 2 error.
2. Choosing a statistical test.
3. Design a study questions (can be 4-8 mark question).
4. Types of reliability and validity.
This is not everything for research methods but everything in the spec is needed so you will have to learn it all..

I'm panicking too, don't worry! I absolutely hate this unit. I think research methods is the worst for me, and I'm now not revising stuff that came up last year to try and fit everything in!!
