Hi,
Last year, my application for student finance was declined due to not being able to satisfy residency criteria i.e. 3 yrs in UK before the start of the course. Although, I had ILR (Indefinite Leave to Remain) at the time of application, I accept the fact that I didn't meet those points because I was on 2yrs and running in UK at the time of application. I decided to wait one more year but then one of the advisor from SFE advised me to self-fund my study for a year and apply again for the year afterwards because I was really keen to get back into study.

So, I self-funded 1st year of my study and recently applied student finance for my 2nd year. I just want to know, will there be any issues regarding my application? I have met all those residency criteria and provided all the documents they asked for.

But, recently they further asked me to send the details of the addresses I lived and its dates during the period of 1/9/11 - 17/5/12 (almost from 3 years ago). Is there anything I need to worry about? I don't know why they are asking this question as I have been now living in UK for over 3 years.

I am really tensed as I won't be able to afford my 2nd year without the help of student finance.

I would really appreciate your help and suggestion.

Kind Regards,
Shason
