Hmm, looks like we could well get ****** over by being 2 behind some spoon barges.
Well it was nice of the Tab to give us a special mention I guess...

Today's notes and fines are lacking in the entertainment they normally provide. (and there are much less of them than usual)
I was expecting a fairly extensive and amusing list based on a lot of what I saw.....

How was your little swim in the cam? :p: Well done on the rowover today, saw Wolfson pretty close at some point.

Fortunately I was only subbing in on Tuesday, so I avoided that incident :p: Hadn't heard today's results yet, glad to hear they rowed over, gives them a chance of finishing in M3 at least...

Must have been a much better row - I didn't think they could row over today after the performances in the first 2 days. Guess we'll be seeing you guys (well, not you, but the rest of them!) again tomorrow!

Caius M3 didn't even turn up to chase us today. Even if they had no hope at all, it's seriously poor form.

To be fair, it's not impossible that that could be because someone in charge thought they/their cox couldn't handle the conditions.

Edit: just checked the charts and it seemed like they rowed in the division before, so obviously that's not why.

Although I agree with you, you must see the lack of appeal in waiting around for ages between divisions for a guaranteed rowover with nothing to lose by not turning up, though?

That division was rowed yesterday, so it could be your first reason. Even still though, you'd think that any crew rowing bumps would be able to cope with the conditions. The W3 division managed it today!

They were a man down and couldn't get anyone to sub in this time

combination of illness and confusion amongst the crew about what days they were rowing (since they became the sandwich boat). Partially my fault.

Time to find out if I can remember how to scull without falling in...

Just as long as you don't end up falling in and going over the sluices at Bait's Bite! Did the college clubs hear about that story?

Stupendously stupid. Seems no-one's owned up to it yet.

Succeeded in not falling in, now just need to work on going in anything vaguely like a straight line...
