There was all sorts of confusion with some forms having been lifted from the organiser's pigeon hole and reappearing a couple of days later...hence the extra boats being tacked on the end.
There were 5 Selwyn boats, to be fair. It was a good day though - thanks to anyone who gave me chocolate!
Sorry Chewwy that you didn't get to race - but you can save your costume for next year!

And the Selwyn boat that pulled out (mine) was due to the Selwyn lacrosse team (which contained most of the boat!!) reaching the cuppers final - and given that they had never ever scored a goal before today we didn't think it was very likely they'd get that far!!!!!

I stand corrected- well done Selwyn!

I'm assuming you had three mens' and three womens' boats in Lents  :p:

thanks to anyone who gave me chocolate!

Did you get any M&S chocolate roll things from a vaguely piratical Clare bank party- i.e. me?

I'm a bowsider and I'll kick your ass out of the 7 seat :p:
I can fill in at 2 if you need a strokesider!

Otherwise I'll be looking for a crew for the first TSR boat race against that crew you've listed. Any takers?
6! (or stroke, but that's rather more stressful...)
I've rowed on bowside and strokeside equally, but think I'd be happiest at bow. Or maybe 7. But nowhere near the middle, and not stroke.

I'm bowside damn it
Reply 809
excellent. you even got my seat correct!
*feels she may be pushed out of this boat in favour of someone who's a bit more experienced!*

Alex and Rachael - i didn't know either of you rowed!

nice leggings

Yep, those are nice leggings. Liking the grey stripe. I don't quite so much like the feathering with the outside hand, though :p: (Feel free to criticise my interesting finish when you see me  )

Had my first ever outing on Strokeside this morning. Having only ever rowed bowside, it felt quite un-natural at first, and I kept thinking to myself, "wtf is the rigger doing on THAT side?!" Came out alright in the end, though.

So what's everyone doing for Mays, then? I might end up rowing M3, although there's also a couple of fluffy novice boats that I've been coaching I might bank party. Who knows!

I'm guessing you saw me this morning then. Sorry I didn't notice you, there are just so many terrible crews in yellow and black that I blank them out.

I'm beginning to panic about how close Mays are! I'm rowing in Sidney M2 and my half novice boat that I've been coaching is in the getting on race.

So little time and so much to do!

Was anyone else in Champs Head last weekend?

To be fair to be me, I'd only had two hours sleep this morning.
