How do you end a friendship?

(I'll just use gender neutral terms to avoid saying if it's a male/female.)

Okay, I want to end a friendship with someone. I don't particularly like them and he/she is not an awful person. It's just that, well, I have no interest in being connected with them anymore.

How do I casually end it without really ending it? Like I don't want to say: "I don't want to be friends anymore." Are there any tactics for doing this in a subtle way?

If male (and you are female), sex him and say that you are pregnant.
If female,say that you only are friends with her to bed her.

At least this post made me smile. I don't like this friend of mine and I want to ignore them...

It's hard as blocking them would also be saying that I'm trying to avoid them. I just want them to know that we can't really work out. T_T

Ugh. I don't want it to snowball into something much worse either.

I don't think the other person cares a ton about me, but it's just that they would care enough... And that's too much to bother dealing with.

Ah. Why do things have to be this complex? >_<

I have a better idea of it now. Thanks. :smile: so it's like a game (I know what Mario Kart is) and people get upset when they lose against friends.

Just tell them the friendship is over and walk away.
Just don't make an effort to contact first, see how long it takes (if they do) contact you first.
