They interview mature applicants and the majority of those who are applying for an LLB with study abroad. They don't interview 'normal' applicants for their standard LLB.
Ah, that's good to know. Although I have a feeling that (if they're interested in me, even) that I may have an interview due to dropping out of uni this year and reapplying...
Yeah I have my interview pretty soon. I'm applying for M145 Law and Maitrise. I think 10 mins of my interview will be in French, but I've not been asked to prepare anything. Feeling a weee bit nervous...
Any past experiences? Anyone know how it generally goes?

You are correct that a portion of your interview will be in French (you will be expected to be very fluent) and that it is not necessary to prepare anything. I would also ensure that you have very good reasons for wishing to study the Maitrise as opposed to the straight M100. It is also advisable to know a bit about EU law and why you are interested in it. PM me if you need anymore information, as I know quite a lot about the Maitrise selection process.
Any mature people who have been interviewed for straight Law care to share any experiences? What kind of things might a straight Law person be asked? I'm guessing it's similar to Oxbridge interviews, being based mainly around current affairs?
I think this has already been discussed. Probably very similar to oxbridge, with stuff about "why law", "why now" (after all you are a mature applicant) etc, really provided you have decent answers I can't imagine it will be much of a problem! Thinking about it too much in advance can make your answers sound forced and half the skill is in being to just reel stuff off as you go, rather than over-rehearsing.
I personally wouldn't worry, too much anyway . Good luck.
oh rite sorry if this has been discussed before but I couldn't find any thread specific for UCL, so I just thought I'd double check some things.. but yh it's true that there's no point worrying, thanks.
And Verita, wow that would be really great, thank you so much
It's been said about a gagillion times: unless you're a mature student, international student, or applying for law with a language, you will not get an interview.
