Hi, I will be doing A Level (Edexcel) History next year, and was wondering what sort of books would be good to read over the summer and into next year? I'm really hoping for top marks in History considering it's what I'd like to study at university and so I'd like to read some books which will really help.
The topics I'll be studying are:
- Unification of Italy (c1830-1870)
- Britain (c1785-1870): Democracy, Protest and Reform
- Germany (1871-1990): Unification, Kaiser to Führer (including Weimar) and West Germany, and the fall of the Berlin Wall

Thanks
