Critical Point's For 6 of the 8 Cases:

Majewski - Could be convicted as it was reckless conduct to get oneself blind drunk and reckless constitutes MR

Hardie - Added distinction between soporific/sedatives from dangerous drugs + intoxication was not voluntary as the effects of valium were unexpected.

Gallagher - 'Drunken intent is still an intent' + Dutch courage is not a defence.

Beard - Made it so that there was a defence to specific intent crimes as voluntary drunkenness never used to be an excuse.

Kingston - If there is MR at the time of the offence then D is guilty. 'A drunken intent is still an intent'

Lipman - Guilty of m/s after fallback from murder as his intoxicated state was voluntary.

I'm trying to find Bailey and Heard just thought I'd shove this in here

Which questions require sources? All of them?!
Question 1 will be on one specific source.

Question 2 will require links to lines within multiple sources when appropriate. (I hate this)

Question 3 requires a link to one source which is appropriate.

Hope this helps

Thanks! So, for question 1 & 3 do we not need to link to specific lines?

what are your predictions for the case for question one? i dont think it'll be hardie, bailey, lipman or heard as they're not that relevant. I really hope it's gallagher or kingston!
