Why would you get them taken out? :confused: Unless they're causing you some kind of harm (like growing in the wrong way) they're just teeth that come later.

You might find that your wisdom teeth might be pushing on your others since yours are straight, they did with mine, but they caused no real damage. They're no problem - just don't eat on them when they're coming through, that hurts!

Wisdom teeth only get taken out if they're going to be impacted, i.e. they're not going to come through. But if it really bothers you that much - go and see a dentist. They know a lot more about your mouth than I do.
You're scared of your wisdom teeth?
Are they growing crookedly? Are they pushing your other teeth?
If there's nothing wrong with them, then there's no need for them to come out!

my wisdom teeth have just gone through (on the bottom) - does everybody have theirs out automatically? does this hurt? very scared! should i tell my dentist straight away or wait until i go in april? i also had a brace for years and now have straight teeth, does this make a difference? please help - thanks!


I've had no problems with mine bar a gum infection which wasn't bad and cleared up by itself :smile:.
