They do quite a few sports!!! I'm impressed

Reply 4

i do it at high school

Reply 5

I think UCL has a significantly better sports scene than the LSE? Or you could join one of those UoL societies.

Reply 6

Yeah I was wondering about this too, I really want to play regular organised football and it's a bit of a bummer LSE isn't exactly top in its sports facilities, I guess that's more down to the majority of people that get in though who are less sporty types.

Reply 7

BTW, your signature is amusing. :p:

Of course there are sports at LSE. The AU is really active, although I think they do more drinking than sports :p: There are always loads of guys with their LSEFC jackets on and stuff.

LSEFC? So they have a football club or is that just the foreign club?

Reply 11

Are there any official varsity teams? Does the UK have something like the NCAA? Does the LSE have american football?

Reply 12

No American football. The teams play in the ULU league and if they're good enough go to the national league matches--called BUSA I think.

Sports at university in the UK can't compare to the US, where it is much bigger. The NCAA has no foreign parallel.

Lol, yeah there's an FC. LSE has 6 football teams (I think... maybe 7) so that they can accommodate both those that can actually play football and those that just want an excuse to go to AU parties, get wasted and brag about being in the AU so they can pull girls (4th team and below)...

Reply 14

Wow, well that's awesome news

Reply 15

^^^ really? HAHA, sounds like fun

Reply 16

You can join the AU without actually being on a team, if you just want in for the partying :p:
