Computer science interview at UCL
Hi
I've just received an interview at UCL(which i really didn't expect) in march and I was just wondering if this is usually a good sign or do they just give an interview to most or all applicants?
It'd be very much appreciate if someone can also give me advice of what I should expect in the interview because I've never had a uni interview before. Would they ask me questions like ''why did you choose computer science'' and give me a maths exercice or something similar ?

Ive got an interview at ucl in march, not for computer science, but Information Management for Business which has parts of the course being taught by the CS department.
My CS interview was really casual, they didn't ask me any maths/logic questions at all but that may have been because I'd taken a gap year and had my results already hence knew what I was capable of. I did hear that other people were asked maths/logic questions but nothing difficult.
They asked me pretty general questions like why I wanted to do computer science and about a few extra curricular things I'd put down on my PS. I think the CS interview is really for you to get a feel for the university and the course, which tbh I fell in love with.
Everyone I heard from got an offer after their interview but obviously I can't speak for everyone, it seems as though an interview = offer
