I have currently chosen -

Maths
English
Physics
Chemistry
Art
(All at higher level)

What do you think of my choices? I have no idea what I want to study in uni so I am trying to keep my options as broad as possible.

If you have done any of these, what did you think of the course content?

Yes, very good broad range. Maths and Physics I have done this year and thoroughly enjoyed both but maths is quite a step up from N5!

Good broad choice, I did the same for my 5th year by taking Maths, English, History, Chemistry and Biology.

The history and English (mostly just the history as the courses I looked at didnt care what subjects you had) opened me up to political and historical degrees, things like international relations too. Maths opened up economics and well...maths. Chem, Bio and Maths opened up the Medical type degrees like Biomed, Medicine, Dentistry.

With your choices you could still do medicine if you wanted as you have chemistry, but you don't really have access to the biology type careers. I'm taking physics in S6 so I have access to all the engineering type jobs too, as well as the biology stuff, so maybe you should consider taking bio in S6 just to widen up options further if needed.

Any rough idea what you want to do?
