I wouldn't trust them. If they worked, noone would be overweight. You don't have to join a gym to excercise. Try some walking, swimming, cycling, running, maybe some sit ups etc. I go to a gym even though I'm really busy with uni and work and volunteering. I go circuit training, which takes 30 mins and try to go 3 times a week. Sorted.

I haven't tried them personally but from what I've heard they don't really work. I'm sure you could make time to go to the gym, you can't revise all the time and it would be good to have a break from sitting down revising.

they don't work. I know from experience

Don't use any of these methods to lose weight, they're false hope.
Honestly, you do have time to go to the gym- for example, you have time to come on here! [ignore the fact that its past midnight!] And even if you don't much like the gym then there are other activities you can do. Taking time out of studying/working, can be productive as you are using your time more effectively.
I understand your exams are important but there are things you can do! Please don't fall for these methods, just eat healthy and exercise regulary. It does work

Alot of slimming pills just increase your heart rate (-they made me feel like i was having a heart attack!) i didnt notice any difference when i was taking them

Slimming pills probably could help you lose weight but you should look at the potential effects of them before trying them out. :dontknow: I've never tried them before. Best to resort to exercising, imo.

my firend used them and claimed they worked, but maybe it was psychological, like a placebo? anyway, how overweight are you, cahnces are you don't need to take duch extreme measures yet

try Actislim, its ridiculously expensive but they work. Mum has lost 10kg using them and a friend has lost 12kg. They increase metabolism and reduce appetite. good luck losing weight xx

I have tried a few kinds - the rather feeble looking herbal types you find in Boots and some more expensive ones from a sports science company. I found that the ones containing iodine (eg ones made from kelp) gave me a great energy boost after a nasty bout of post-viral fatigue, but I do have a fairly low level of naturally produced thyroxine anyway so chances are if things are normal in your body you won't notice a huge difference. Ingredients like green tea and dandelion root, found in Metasys and Adios, are known to speed food through your system so will make you feel less bloated, and the ones used by professional bodybuilders were expensive but really did work - when I dieted seriously I would take them if I'd had a day where I lost control a bit and ate stuff I shouldn't and they always stopped me putting weight back on. BUT, and this is a big but, they can't be the crux of your weight loss plan. I always found them invaluable in making weight loss easier but I could never have shed a significant amount of weight using them alone - perhaps two or three pounds but no one will ever notice that. When combined with dieting and exercise I really noticed a difference in the speed of my weight loss compared with diet and exercise alone, but I don't think you'll have any luck trying to make significant changes to your body without significant effort unfortunately.
