I've basically decided I'm going to do this (as I've just finished my Maths A-Level and I'm starting Further Maths next year and want to get a head start) and this thread is basically me asking for the best way to approach this?

Are there any good online revision guides (videos preferably) that are good. Or any revision books that are short and concise? (No padded ones with tons of examples, etc. if possible?)

I sort of taught myself Core 4 using this playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...ptpWQm-5kCqrte and was really hoping for anything similar?

Thanks

If you go on the ExamSolutions site by googling it you'll find he does all exam boards, including AQA. ExamSolutions is really helpful and I studied most of my Further Maths AS from there

I know there are free text book like pdfs on the AQA website, but these are only on FP2, 3 and 4, not 1. Maybe try maths and physics tutor.

Aqa FP1 is probably the easiest to teach to yourself. I found FP1 to be easier than standard A level maths.
But you should probably try and get FP1 out of the way as quick as possibly so that you have time to concentrate on FP2 and 3 which are extremely difficult compared to A level maths. So starting of summer sounds like it would be a good idea, even if you only did an hour a day you could do it in a months.
The AQA text book is quite good for most topics, especially the matrix chapters.

Oh and do not do 3 mechanics chapters. I did M3,4 and 5 which I didn't think we're that hard. But m4 is 10x harder than S1 and 2
