Am I Protected?

I had sex with my boyfriend this morning and the condom came off halfway though. We didn't realise until it was over. Thing is, I started taking the contraceptive pill (Femodette) eight days ago. I didn't start it on the first day of my period, but surely I should be protected as I've been taking it for eight days...? The instructions say you're protected after seven days, but I'm still really worried. I'm at university and I don't know where to go to get the morning after pill or what to say. I'm halfway through my cycle so am at my most fertile... but the pill should have stopped me ovulating, right? Please put my mind at rest.

after 8 days you should be protected but if you're worried speak to one of the nurses at your uni's health centre and they should be able to put your mind at rest

You should be fine if you've been taking it for 8 days.
If you're worried then you can get the morning after pill over the counter from any pharmacist.
Just ask them for the morning after pill, they'll ask you a few questions about when you last had sex, when was your last period etc.
Sounds as though your protected though so I wouldn't worry.
