Aaah I remember when I used to love programming, I just can't seem to find the time to do it these days. When I was like 12 I'd spend ages on Visual Basic and Python, how I miss those days...

For some reason I like programming in old defunct languages. Was never much a fan of having to navigate the obstacles that operating systems throw up. Would happily do bare bones if I had the hardware.

For me retro is romantic. Modern hyper cool graphics games leave me feeling flat. I don't know why but they just lack spirit.

I'm old enough to remember the original Pong

When the 8-bits were popular you could get magazines with 10-liners in them. Every program submitted couldn't be more than 10 lines of code. It was amazing what people could do. Whole games, animations and stuff.
