Retaking 2nd year

I have to retake my second year of a four year degree. Will I get tuition fee and maintenance loans through to the end of the course (ie 5 years in total)?

Yes, as long as you haven't been to uni before and you don't need to retake any years in future.

The calculation is:

Number of years of your current uni course (minus) Number of years of previous uni-level eduction (plus) One year = The number of years you will get your full SF funding

This gives you 4-0+1= 5 years

You're covered for this coming retake year, but would have to fund any future retake year yourself.
