what does falling for someone mean?
ok this may be a stupid question but what does it mean if someone says they're falling for you? does it mean they're falling in love with you or that they just really really like you ? im new to this whole relationship thing ya see! help would be appreciated thanks! xxx

It means falling in love. if you think about it logically they don't mean they are literally falling in the floor for you. (or maybe they do! lol) It's become a kind of contraction for "I'm falling (in love with) you"

My boyfriend used to say it to me until he'd worked up the courage to actually say 'I love you'...

My 'boyfriend' says it in past tense: "I couldn't help falling for you". "I didn't know I was going to fall for you"
