by the way, oxford, cambridge, lse and soas were the only four unis not to have to go into clearing this year (although soas did apparently belatedly announce one vacancy in south asian studies, which they still haven't cleared off their website).
    What's soas?

I dont know what mumbo-jumbo country you came off the boat from, but LSE is certainly not 8th! And UCL, Nottingham, Durham, Warwick, and Manchester are not better too!

As a UCL yob would say, "sort it out!"
    What's wrong with UCL?
As that person said, it's the order in which THEY WOULD CONSIDER GOING TO. It doesn't necessarily mean the order which is "the best," although with people like you at LSE I can see why they put it further down the list......

    lol.

i can sense a pattern in it anyway. People seem to be putting the uni's that they must go to rather than the one's with students that come out with a percentage of higher firsts or graduation for that matter

i.e. Southampton and Greenwhich over oxbridge:rolleyes:

The pattern I noticed i that people care waaayyyyyy too much about putting one univerity ahead of another. For god sake they are all full of people much more intelligent than the majority of us, we should appreciate that and keep our over-inflated-brainchild-wannabe-ego's in check.
