A Typical Friend Dilemma...

My oldest friend has recently started getting really distant with me following her recent friendship to a vague friend of mine (who doesn't like me all that much on account of my lack of interest in Lush products, members of the opposite sex, clothing etc.)...

The oldest friend had a phobia of staying away from home (we're in Year 12) and we always said she's have to come round to mine overnight to squish the phobia - only now I find she's just stayed over at this vague friend's house.

Another old (though not so close) friend is being really depressing about it all and keeps reminding me of when I made some new friends the other year.

I'm fine with the oldest friend making new friends, I just hate the thought of us two drifting apart... I've asked her over to mine for a night and she seemed vaguely interested...
What should I do?

The important thing is try not to pressure her to much or seem to desperate, as this could mean annoying her, and making her want to spend less time with you.
If you want to mention how you feel thoe thats fine, just try not to make it seem like a demand but rather a statement, something like.

"Have i done or said something to annoy you recently?? as i noticed we been hanging out less recently and i hate the idea of us drifting apart."

This way you express your feelings, but it dont look like your accusing her.
