CAN SOMEBODY HELP ME WITH MY BIOLOGY COURSEWORK RE AEROBIC EXERCISE!!!!

Can somebody tell the advantages and disadvantages of solely using
Resting Heart Rate
Pulse Rate immediately after exercise
Increase in pulse rate from the start to the end of the exercise
and Recovery Time

each as a measure of fitness?
Eg, a disadvantage of using pulse rate immediately after exercise as a measure of fitness is that if person has a low resting heart rate to start with, because he or she will not see much difference as training goes on.
