For those that think animals have no rights, sometimes they have more rights than humans!

Animals don't have the choice of being transported. People do. If they choose to use the tube it is their fault.

And if you have no realistic alternative modes of transport?

We don't have layers of fur we also have an understanding of where we are going cattle don't. A trip on the tube would be likely half an hour max unless delays a journey for cattle to market can be hours

I have lived in several countries where this would barely register as hot, yet I always find heat in Britain to be the worst because this country is in no way set up to deal with any temperatures higher than 20.

Oh this is so British. People panicking over the slightest of heat waves.

How do you think people in hot countries cope?

Some people need to use the tube for school and work, they don't have a choice because they have to use it. They can't just take the day off just because it's too hot.

Humans can sweat..I think cattle also sweat. The thing is though that the temperature might have been kep deliberately lower to account for other factors.

Because while being transported, and we all know the brutal disregard for animals for commercial/farming purposes. they will probably be exposed to the heat of the vehicle, the interior, the heat of other cattle, all which would raise the temperature to dangerous levels.

Kind of like the tension rating of a rope, it is deliberately (afaik) lower than can theoretically sustain.\

I dont know all the regulations so.

Some are, but the trains on the deeper lines aren't as there's nowhere for the waste heat to go.

EDIT: Also the stations themselves will be pretty warm.

pah soft brits! the temp where I am has been around 25-34 for the past six months! extreme weather is to be expected tbh given global warming and pollution.

The UK goes in to panic mode when it's too hot, too cold, too dry, too windy, too wet...

Taking the bus usually adds just 20 minutes max to your journey. Much better alternative in my opinion
