Supporting evidence for application

Hi,
I am going in to my second year at uni and have reapplied for my student finance which needs supporting evidence.

in the first year for the sake of full disclosure I applied under the circumstance of being estranged from my father (and my mother deceased) and my sixth form teacher who was aware of my situation was able to support my application.

now it has come to reapplying I am struggling to think of anyone appropriate to support my case in the letter it says: doctor, teacher or social worker, however i do not have a doctor/teacher/lecturer who is aware of my situation and i have never had a social worker.

the only person i could think of as appropriate is the executor to my mother's will who happens to be a teaching assistant, can anyone tell me if this would be ok? i don't want to hassle people unnecessarily but time is ticking and i need my finance to come in on time.
