Mates and their boyfriendss

Basically alot of my friends have boyfriends but they're always spending time with them. I only ever get to see them maybe twice in the summer holidays.
Three of them didn't even turn up on my 21st birthday because they were with their bf's. The thing is i'm such a good mate to them, but i always feel like im being used. They only wanna meet up with me when they need something or need to go shopping.
My best mate at uni is like this aswell. She has no friends apart from me and just hangs out with her boyfriend.
Is it normal to have friends like these? Are all girls like this? If i were to have a bf i wouldnt spend my entire life with him, i think its just sad. i think its always good to hang with your mates aswell.

babe, they aint friends if they drop u just cuz they have a bf. iv been with my bf for 2 yrs now and still go out with my girls atleast 3 times a week.
find some girlies who love their girlies :smile:

I don't think it is normal. These girls seem like losers. Sorry to say it. But if they split up with their boyfriends they'll have hardly nobody to turn to! I completely sympathise with you though.

For a start if these people were true friends, they should see no problem with bringing their boyfriend for a night out or whatever. Try asking them why they can't do that.

My best friend for example is really good with it. If she arranges something with her mates but her boyfriend asks her to do something afterwards, he just comes along. I don't see why your friends can't do that. After all if a guy loves a girl, her friends should become his friends really.... IMO anyway!!
