I'm not bothered about the day. I'm happy being single at the mo. For valentines day, I'll have a night out with friends and probably flirt Woooo! If my friends are paired up... then... I could just watch tv, eat chocolate, dance like mad, listen to music...etc Theres lots of things to do :-D!

But I'm sure my best friends would spend a girly night out with me anyway than be with a lad. Girly nights out are so much more fun :-P

Anyway, it's just another day. Think of the freedom whilst all the others are trapped in relationship and you won't get the hassle of buying things... or planning. :p:

I have a boyfriend, but I still hate Valentines Day! I can't remember if we even did anything last year...I think I might have been skiing and him in New York. This year I'm going to a Birmingham open day and I assume he'll go clubbing at uni. It's a pointless day!

I hate Valentines day, even when i had a bf, i cancelled it! I think its ridiculous that couples only have that one day when they feel they HAVE to be all romantic.. whats romantic about going to a place filled to the brim with couples doing exactly the same? Its far more fun to just go out with friends, have a few drinks.. one of my friends has actually asked her bf not to come down, because she doesnt see the point, when they can have a whole weekend together! Why dont you try and recruit some single people, and all go out and have fun?

well, i think valentines day is a big pile of bull. and i'm in a relationship. Its just a money-making opprtunity. my bf and i always hold a gathering at our place, cook food, and generally celebrate our FRIENDS. much more fun. if he bought me roses and a teddy, i'd slap him!

Why do people get so bothered about being alone on Valentines Day? I couldn't give a rat's arse. Try getting through Mothers' Day when your mother's dead, it's way harder.
