should i go to a party that has all my ex's friends?
hey
basically i've been invited to a house party over facebook. the guy who invited me i know from halls 2 years ago, and we talk if we see each other out which isn't very often. but basically the other ppl who are gonna be there are from my ex's course and basically his friends.
my ex is abroad atm for this academic year, and i've only this month i've stopped talking to him to preserve my sanity. last term me and his friends used to go out sometimes (obviously without him), but i haven't really spken to them since i decided to stop talking to him. they are still in touch with him and plan to visit him next month.
would it b really awkward if i went to this party (btw obviously my ex won't be there)? i miss seeing them, but also i want to meet new ppl who don't do my course at the party.

Could you take a friend along? That way you get to meet people but could also leave if you feel really awkward!

yeah, i did think abot that, but no1 wants to come with me, they've already made their own plans. i just can't decide if they like me for me, or if they just felt sorry for me last term so that's why they hung out with me.

Sounds like you are a bunny boiler and also somewhat reclusive. Why would it be awkward in any way?
