Graduate schemes LONDON

I live in the Midlands and I graduate next year. Some of the graduate schemes I'm thinking of applying for are in London and I'm a bit apprehensive about applying because of the distance from home HOWEVER the time on the train to get there and back is shorter time (and cheaper) than travelling from university to home. So that's a plus technically.

Can anyone who has moved to London post-graduation give me some pros/cons? Advice perhaps?
