The Student Room Group

Didn't meet my Offer Requirements.

I only achieved DDM , instead of the DDD they required....

What can I do now?

Go through clearing? How does this process begin? Etc.

Thanks.

Have you tried phoning them up and asking if they'd still let you in? Otherwise you're automatically entered for clearing I believe so take a look at the telegraph's clearing list and look for any courses that interest you and contact the appropriate persons.
It still say's on UCAS - You are holding your firm offer and a , insurance offer lol.

How do i enter for clearing?

It may not update until unis have A-level results. If they didn't reject you straight away, that's actually a really good sign. Basically, if enough other students also miss their offers, you still have a chance at a place. Unfortunately, if everyone else does well, you could end up being rejected.

Do you not have an insurance choice?

If not, then it would be a good idea to begin researching clearing and thinking about where might have spaces available and you'd like to go.
What's the point of firming and insuring offers of the same grades?

The rest of the offers required DDD also.

It's a perfectly reasonable strategy, depending on circumstances.
