also, does the college you apply for affect your chances of getting an interview/offer? e.g. 40 people might apply for the 4 places at Balliol whereas only 10 would apply for St.Anne's so you'd have a better chance at St.Anne's (If Balliol is more popular) or does this get cancelled out by open applications and passing students between colleges

If I were you, I'd email college or look under the engineering subject section. The chances of an Engineering postgrad at Balliol checking this thread are pretty slim. :smile:

Hah she's not quite Lara Croft, but still pretty awesome :P And it is possible to have hobbies at Oxford, you've just got to be good at time-management, and occaisonally resist the calls of the bar and go to bed early...
