I'd love to join this society if possible! I'm probably going to firm Exeter and have Warwick as my insurance (or alternatively firm Warwick and have RHUL as my insurance depending on how January results go). I'm in a sort of semi-gap year at the moment and am loving having a bit of time to read issues of The Psychologist and do some other wider reading, though I'm struggling to find any options for volunteering in a way that's relevant to psychology where I live. Hopefully that will become a lot easier when I actually go to university.

    Hi all.

I'm interested in psychology and am reading a few books related to the subject, but I havn't actually studied it before. Where's a good place to start in terms of learning about it more?

    See attached.

I particularly like the section titled "Prehension in Idiots". It's a very linguistic based study.

Np. It's near impossible to find papers at A-level as you're not going to have subscriptions to the major journals. It's a bit silly for your teacher to expect you to get a hold of it, to be honest.
