Oooh, imagine little old me starting a trend (Actually I lied, the 85% male students swayed me)
Pft, I'm one of those 85% on my course. It's alright for some

AAB (unofficial offer yet, they wrote a letter to my school), I think it was because I was a girl... I thought they'd just go "piss off, who did you think we were? This is TVU's phone number".

I'm sure you'll bag one of them. Failing that, go clubbing!
Im sure I have no trouble picking up girls with the opening line...."Im a computer scientist, what's your name?" or something similar!!! Can someone remind me which courses are considered sexy again?!?

 What's wrong with TVU , there seems to be a lot of members who harbour bitter feelings and resentment of the said university. I mean, they are ranked in the times league tables, and I'm sure its infamous across the globe.

Disclaimer: Yes, I know its crap.

You don't mention you're a computer scientist Don't use any form of academically connected chat up lines whatsoever.

Drats, I'm a female engineer, guys aren't going to react well to that.

Better than my "geology rocks!" chat up line
Oh dear, my mind's now flooding with mechanical engineering related chat up lines.

Archaeology - girls love it...it's not for muppets, involves field work and handling old things and it's vaguely interesting.
Plus there is the added bonus of the really cool hat (*is aware of his own strange fashion sense*)!!!

I would imagine that rolling around in dust / big holes / grass with girls would be an ideal way to spend 4 years but the thought of being like Ross from Friends after my course really does put me off a bit!!!

Soil Mechanics is bound to get the ladies pulses going for me
    I can just picture it
    "Talk dirty to me"
    "Soil, grit, muck"

(Apologies, I know I've made that joke before, but I don't think of vaguely funny things to say that often so I thought I'd repeat it)

Oh god Isn't that more related to environmental engineering? I thinking of more complex chat up lines invovling machinery. (Uh oh, no sickness intended with the last phrase).

How do you think I feel, in my original firm there were 15% girls on my course, in my original insurance there were 12%.........now I'm down to less than 10%......any girl taking pity on me please call me!!!
Yeah but I bet those girls are thinking '90% blokes, wahey!'...I know I did when applying for chemistry where most of the courses were 70% blokes.

Then I discovered they were all geeks, most of which have hair longer than mine... oh well!!!

Ross is a palaentologist - not an archaeologist...he would have studied geology at uni specialising at doctorate stage on palaeo.

I *hate* palaeontologists - the wuss's of the geology world....it's not proper science grr
Lol, did anyone see the episode of him trying to gain the funding from the guy who was still in love with his girlfriend?
