Hi,

I'm a third year student in the United States. I am coming to Nottingham as an exchange student for the 2015 Fall semester. I've been accepted into the Department of Archaeology and I'm hoping to take a Vikings Studies class while I'm there.

I am a bit confused on accommodations and was hoping that someone with first hand knowledge could give me some advice. What's better: catered or self catered halls? How's the food in the catered halls? What do they even offer? How are the rooms? When the description says sharing a bathroom with up to 6 other people, what is that like? Etc...

I've never been in this situation so I'm trying to get a better idea of what it'll be like before making a final decision.

Any information you can give me would be great!
Thank you so much and I'm really excited about being at Nottingham.
